The Spectrum Awards, given by the American Gem Trade Association (AGTA) to jewelers who are judged to be the leaders in their field were recently announced.  The entries are evaluated on the basis of overall beauty and wearability, innovative design, effective use of precious metals and colored gemstones, quality of workmanship and broad based consumer appeal.  Donald was honored to receive the Third Place Award in the category of Day and Business Wear for the year 2007.  The award was presented to him at a formal dinner dance at the Tucson Gem Fair on Saturday the third of February.

While at the Gem Fair Donald also became a member of the Contemporary Design Group (www.CDGjewelers.com), a national association of professional jewelry designers dedicated to the promotion of creative American jewelry design.
